In this level 2 demo, I'm going to show you how I draw an arcade room using 1-point perspective. I'll still use some guides from the level 1 demo, but less of them to slowly take off the training wheels.

My rendition of the arcade machines. In this case, I think I kind of just drew whatever shape that looked fun, and the resulting machines don't really look too much like arcade machines. But it was still nice to draw something different from plain boxes.

Ive been on an extended break from these lessons. But trying to dive back in with a new appreciation for the learning process. Still such a beginner. But ive taken two other art classes at the art institute in Indianapolis, and wow are you such a better teacher. Ive learned so much from this online course already and I'm really hoping to soak up more! Thanks for putting this site and these lessons together! Its changed my life, seriously.

Perspective has always been confusing to me, so I never drew things with it. After watching this demo, I tried again. Although the lines are still messy, I was finally able to complete level 2. Last time, I didn’t finish it because I was stopped by the chaos caused by the lines.

Level 1. Always using ruler. I need to follow Stan's advise about drawing straight lines.

Do you have a trick equivalent to that x-method but to divide something to an odd number of equal sized pieces? If you for example want to devide a space to 3? Ive tried to figure out that my self several times and just end up winging it because i don’t have any tool for it.
