I really love all the awkward sinks in this exercise :D. In general, I like this exercise; however, I was confused when there were a lot of lines. But after the critique, I understood that I don’t have to extend every line to the vanishing point. Sometimes I used a ruler when the angle was hard for me, and I could see it was wrong, but I couldn’t make it right. Most of the work, though, is done freehand.

Here is my attempt for level 2 post demo and post critique. I tried my best creating a spaceship cockpit room. I messed up on the window that looks outside, the shading makes space look weird. This was fun to do and I hope it came out great.
I hope someone gets the “Ludicrous speed” reference 😅

The last 1pp drawing before I move on to 2pp. Did an industrial/factory type drawing this time, and I do kind of like how it turned out. I did make it really hard for myself by having to draw all these very long horizontals and verticals though.
My first attempt drawing a nuclear reactor and my third attempt drawing Proko's arcade from memory. I had a pleasant experience with this assignment, but I'm a bit sloppy with some of my lines.
thank you for the critique in lvl 2 too. I ve been practicing drawing from imagination since the assignment came out. But I am really struggling coz the only thing that I can draw decent is still from reference in my lvl2 assignment. And those ghost in another drawing simply just filled the empty space and practice drawing the head from imagination. Sorry for getting you a neck cramp, lol. I thought if the horizon line is in an angle can create some chaos in the scene. I guess it didn't.... Oh also this two day i try to draw things that are really close to the vanishing point ie drawing small stuffs, but my hand and finger seems to be out of control. Should I even do small drawing?
Thank you for your critique Stan.
So if I'm understanding this right. You can't make a purely 1-point perspective drawing if you intend to rotate an object or have it at an angle that doesn't connect to the VP?
Stan, I appreciate your critiques to my assignments. The amount of value this course is delivering is amazing!!!
Thank you.
Thanks for the input Stan! I got the Lazy Nezumi tool after you recommended it in the Level 1 critiques - it is really cool. Concerning my lines: I did use the line tool for the construction and made the majority of the cleanup lines freehand - so lots of line exercise for me.
Hey man, a suggestion I have for you to avoid line clutter is to just use different layers for every object since you're using digital tools. You can organize this however you want but an example would be:
Have your VP in one layer, the project you'll be drawing in another layer (let's say it's a rail again), and then you have the lines for the right metal bar in a 3rd line layer, once you're done drawing the right metal bar in your project layer, disable the 3rd line layer so you don't see those lines and do a 4th layer for the left metal bar, 5th for some of the wood planks etc...
