Level 1 assignments!
I used photo references to draw the first and the second cars and then I created the third one from a different angle. It's hard to keep lines clean when I need to draw a lot of construction lines!

I couldn't figure out on my own how to draw the hand in the third photo using simple boxes until I watched this video. Thanks for the demo!

Level 1
I struggled to simplify pose 3 into boxes. I'm looking forward to watching the upcoming demo!
I experimented with the method Marco recommends in the video. It was fun! However, I think I failed to make the colors cool.
Any suggestions and critiques are welcome!

Thank you so much for the critique as well as the detailed demos!
Watching how you analyze each angle is really helpful. Thank you for the demonstration!

I thought the project was simple and easy, but it was actually so hard! It's difficult to find the correct angles and make proportions good at the same time. I'll watch the demo and try again.
Critiques are always welcome!

Intermediate Challenge
I painted a plaster head of Venus de Milo that my grandmother used to learn drawing in a teacher's school 75 or more years ago.
The first one I painted at midnight was lightened with a pale ceiling light almost right above while the light source in the second was weak environmental(indirect) sunlight coming from windows.
I used multiply to create shadow parts and then added reflected light with the screen layer.
I tried painting from life this time. It was challenging because it kept changing!

10 minutes. The figures I drew look stiff today. Maybe I was too nervous about proportions. I had to exaggerate the movement more.
The timer function is really useful for daily exercises!

15 minutes for each. As a beginners, I should've taken more time to draw structure shapes carefully.
5 minutes, 15 minutes, and 35 minutes.
I tried doing thumbnail sketches with Copic makers and brush pens.
Analyzing shadow and light in a short time was incredibly complex and it made me rushed, but I enjoyed it.
Some 2 minutes sketches and two 30 minutes practice. Ahh, I need to learn how to draw heads seriously next year.
Asked for help
Five 5 minutes gestures and some 1 minute ones.
I practice gesture sketches as daily exercises, but it's never been easy! When I use charcoal lines often look wobbly. Maybe I grip it too hard.

I tried to render shadows and reflections on metal plates but messed it up! (5 minutes for sketching and 20 minutes for rendering with markers.

10 minutes each. I focused on one area at the same time. For some reason hatching I drew to indicates plane changes looks like hair. I'd like to know how to improve/fix it.

Four 5 minutes sketches and one 40 minutes lay-in, but became like a sketch in the end.
25 minutes is too short for measuring carefully! I also tend to make faces too wide every time I practice layin.
Thank you for the video and the comment on my assignment!
