Level 1 demos are done and it's time to move on to level 2! In this lesson, I show you how I would approach the level 2 CSI project.

pre demo drawings. couldn't figure out the legs with the camel. struggled with the proportions a lot with the skull...so i kinda lost focus on the lines..:/ can't wait to see stans solutions!

My attemt while the proko demo. I rushed a bit on the skull cause I was dragging that assignment for couple of days. Just needed to finish it . Need to move on with the lessons. I am also working on the two week drawing challenge. But I missed few days because of school work. But if I keep thinking about the missing days I can’t move forward. So for now let’s focus on future lessons.

My attempt on the camel I need to sketch lighter but I did fine

Hellooo :) This is my first attempt before the Demo. This was also last year so I plan on redoing and seeing any progress. If anyone sees something that I should do differently in my next attempt please don’t be afraid to let me know the ways I can improve. Thank you!

Hello! Here’s my attempts at the skull and camel! I think the camel came out well. I spent more time drawing the skull a few times, I tried not to get bogged down determining proportions/focus on line quality, I would often catch myself making small strokes instead of confident lines.

This video is not working as well.

Unlike the level 1 project, I found this more easier compare to the boots. I will noted that I made sure to not get distracted with the skeleton details of the neck. Thought, I will say that I had to readjust the proportions of both of the subjects, just so it matches the lengths of the images, being the legs of the Camel, and the jaw of the head for the skeleton.

My drawings before demo. Still working on holding pencil properly, line quality, and using whole arm.

I am more into realism drawing, so from time to time, I'm making these kind of projects to have some fun.

I struggled a lot more with the skull. I definitely didn’t simplify it enough. I tried, but I’m still having a hard time visualizing the forms. Even so, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. The camel was much easier to simplify, and I had a lot of fun with it. I’ll definitely keep working on my simplification skills.
@irenemarceline
Definitely struggled with the camel’s mouth, it’s kinda off but I really enjoyed this one! I found it easy, definitely easier than the boots. As for the skull, it was fun! It’s not completely accurate but I left it as is because the lines feel ok to me. Ironically I struggled most with the cap 😅

skull was drawn pre-demo and I realized I needed to focus on stronger lines. camel was drawn post-demo and it's giving brachiosaurus
@hannahfathi
Drawing of a seal after all csi demos. Working on tapered stroke but definitely challenging!
