The L2 demos were very insightful, especially the ‘design & exaggerate’ aspect. Such as picking out an area as the focal point and designing the light’s position & shadow shapes around it, and exaggerating the hardness of bony landmarks. I keep defaulting back to copying what I see in the references, but these demos reminded me that I always can/should alter what I see to create a more intriguing drawing.
