This lecture made me sob. Wow. Such a light hearted and profound lesson,
I dont know where to ask this. But i try here. I had day light lamp ive used when I draw and take photos of my drawings. But it just broke today. After maybe 2 years. The plastic broke. I wasnt 100% satified with it and that it just lasted 2 years makes me want to get anything else. 2 bad things with this one is that it blinds others and that it gets like a dark corner on my drawings where it doesnt reach. Do anyone here knows a good lamp? I use it in my arm chair so it needs to stand on the floor and be able to stand close to me and my easel. I attach picture on the lamp i have now.

I've been pleased with this no-name desk task lamp, this one is labeled "PHIVE" but I have two of the exact lamp with different manufacturers branding on them. Fairly easy to find online. I have 2 of these lamps, one on each side of my desk so I can angle two different lights to kill shadows. They have a far reach, great angles, slim profile, warm/cool color temp, and dimming options, and they're fairly inexpensive. Under $50 USD each if you catch them on sale.
There are special daylight lamps for artists sold in art shops. They are a bit pricey, but I heard people raving about them.
I am using an old $10 clip on 'outdoor' light from a hardware store, it is very bright and because I mostly draw, I don't care about CRIs and such other things that may impact colour perception.
