Front view of head. The features are coming out a bit mechanical but that might just come with time.

The pencil marks are too light. I cannot watch the demo.

A few attempts at this assignment using Pinterest photos as reference. Numbers 3,4, and 5 (especially 5) were tough to do. I think I need to spend more time on measurements there. Any feedback? Thank you in advance! (Hopefully the page is visible. My phone camera isn't the greatest.)

here is a bit of my study for today, from going through the first couple videos. I tried to copy from pictures of my family members, then did tracings to see how close I was and tried to take notes of why they were off. Looking forward to improving!

Tracing over the references and comparing is a great idea!

Hi everyone. Here's my today's warm-up exercise: Loomis Head (front view) with Asaro Head study. I'm trying to apply the principles of the Asaro head plains to the face and head construction by Andrew Loomis.

Studying the interactions between two distinct methods - this sounds like some pretty hardcore drawing studying, @Marco Sordi. Nice job!

Thanks @Bradwynn Jones !! You gave me so many good advices (^^). It's not the first time I have the sensation the irises are too big in my portraits. I have to be more accurate!! Thanks again.

I like how you lined up the inside corner of the eyes with the outside wing of the nostrils. Also mouth placement using the rhythm of the nasolabial fold. His iris looks a little too big for his eyes. Easy fix. Good study Marco!
