Hello, this is my level 1 assignment. I'm still working on the torso references, which is much harder than I thought. My brain hurts already... So I decided to do my best and then compare with Stan's demo. Anyway... I'd be grateful if anyone could critique and give advice on my 25 level 1 boxes ;). Thanks for that! Sniggy

Village Level 1 It was a huge, repetitive process with lots of erasing, but it was fun. I feel like I've gained confidence over time (days!!;)) and finally understood the basic drawing rules behind a smurf house :D Next time I want to be even bolder with my gestural perspective.

@Andreas Kra Absolutely great!I have one question: How do you know that your organic forms (horse, or the grumpy piece) ist correct in perspective? Or is that the wrong question? :) idk...since i've started drawing in perspective intuitively, working with construction lines feels hard and confusing

Hey guys, hey Stan, I'd really love to hear your critique on my ginger root people. It feels like I've improved from zero to 3/(1000) in the last few months ;) That feels good. But I'm SURE I'm making a lot of mistakes in each of the projects. So please, please take a look at them and critique everything you can!!! I need your feedback. Thank you so much for your great work. Have a great week! Sniggy

Whole buncha blobs and ginger roots and animals and stuff. This was really fun and also really challenging. It's amazing how tiny changes to the cross contour lines can either supercharge a picture's 3Dness or completely break the illusion. There were times where I could actually *feel* the cross contour line being influenced by the form beneath it, which is a bizarre experience. There were other times that I felt completely out control and was just guessing where the line was supposed to go. This makes me feel like I still have a long, long way to go when it comes to understanding 3D forms.

This octupus was hard... I would be happy if someone could tell me where I still have potential for improvement ;) (besides reducing my sloppiness here and there)

Guys... I give up.... I am not even able to draw the ellipse correctly inside/within (??) the square. And the second ellipse does not change in perspective... ?!?!

I found it very difficult to get clean and correct lines without using a ruler. Especially for the objects I placed far away from the VP. Yet, I think I get the idea.
