I need help with these tracings, I don't know if I have gotten any of these correct. Please Give honest feedback

Not completely finished assignment myself but one critique I can point out is the insertion of the pecs. I think your tracings insert too far down the humerus. The actual attachment point of pecs should be under the deltoids. Great work!

Happy New Year everyone! Here is my attempts before and after watching demo. My before are quite wrong. So I watched this video once, and then tried to do by myself, after this, I watched answers again to correct my second attempts. They look a little bit better than before. I would appreciate for some feedback.

My first and second attempts at the muscles

Hi @spideronthewall, nice studies! There is a big improvement from the first to the second attempts. I'll do my best to help you further :) - Next time you do a tracing, try to think more three dimensionally. The lines you've put down look as if they sat on the surface of the model, like a tattoo. Instead of drawing lines on the surface, try to draw the actual muscle, showing it's three dimensional form. Like you did with the bones in the joint assignment. Think of it like you have a sculpture in front of you; you're building the body with pieces of clay. - What's your goal? Do you want to do illustration? Animation? Realistic portrait drawing? Or something else? Knowing what your goal is might help me guide you better :) - I would highly recommend taking the Drawing Basics course. Anatomy has importance, but you can only benefit from it as far as your drawing skills allow you to. Feel free to continue studying anatomy if you enjoy it, but if your looking to improve your art, focus your efforts on the Drawing Basics course. Since you already own the Figure Drawing Fundamentals course, that could also be a place to go. But I think you'll really enjoy and benefit from the Drawing Basics course. I think it will give you a broader foundation than the figure drawing course. I hope this helps :) Keep up the good work 💪😎👍 Let me know if you have any questions!

First set are on my own while the second set are during the demo examples. I think I overdid a bit when I should have just been focusing on the pec muscles but it helps me spot my mistakes and refine them.

Here is my work for this section. First i attempted before watching the demo (see pics 1,2,3,4 &5) then I followed along with the example video (pics 6,7&8) & finally I attempted them again on my own! (pics 9,10,&11)

This was way harder than I thought haha. Here are the side by sides of some of my first attempts next to a version where I was following along with the video.

Me during this assignment: "Sure, I'm supposed to attach it to the humerus but... how do I know where the humerus is inside this massive arm?"

OK. I did my own very inaccurate drawings first without watching. Then, I watched the demos. Twice. I still needed to refer to the demos to do these tracings.
