It was a great example to practice with a brush pen. p.s. please feed Rembert! Don’t let your artists starve🥲
LESSON NOTES

What's in Premium?

I will show you how to draw a complex motorcycle and sidecar using exaggerated perspective. We start by building a simple box with a ballpoint pen to lock in our vanishing points and proportions. Once the grid is set, I switch to a brush pen to carve out the details. You will learn how to draw wheels in perspective, commit to bold lines, and hide your mistakes with heavy ink. I also share how to smudge brush pen ink to create form and value. This makes the drawing process feel more like painting. This step-by-step method helps you tackle intimidating subjects with speed and confidence.

Not quite sure why my brain decided the sidecar was that long, placement was a bit off, gotta keep practicing and training my eye. Any tips are welcome.

I wish these narrated drawing examples had the reference image always in frame to better associate the shapes you're breaking down. As someone who's just learning how to construct more complex forms, it'd be very helpful to see how you're interpreting and 'boxifying' from the reference instead of needing to scroll between the video and the reference image on the page.(doing it on mobile is a poor experience) Overall helpful though!

I wish the reference image was closer and higher quality. Otherwise if you want to try drawing it before watching the lecture, u cant see half the details he's drawing.

My angle ist different, again, but I am happy, that you can see what it is supposed to be, after that messy start 😁

Not a ton of practice with the brush pen at the moment, but was good fun.
