Not quite sure why my brain decided the sidecar was that long, placement was a bit off, gotta keep practicing and training my eye. Any tips are welcome.

Hey Evan, this was a great attempt! I think one of the most difficult aspects of drawing something like this is getting the ellipses right! Drawing circles in perspective is a bit tricky, and there is a bit of perspective geometry you need to consider when drawing them. I would suggest drawing a plane in perspective of where you want your ellipse to go first, as I did here, and use it to inform the shape of the ellipse. Your ellipse should touch the middle edge of each side of the plane, and it should be symmetrical and consistently round. It takes a bit of practice, but getting comfortable with drawing them is a bit of a superpower! Here is a page from the handbook with some helpful info about ellipses!
I wish these narrated drawing examples had the reference image always in frame to better associate the shapes you're breaking down.
As someone who's just learning how to construct more complex forms, it'd be very helpful to see how you're interpreting and 'boxifying' from the reference instead of needing to scroll between the video and the reference image on the page.(doing it on mobile is a poor experience)
Overall helpful though!
I wish the reference image was closer and higher quality. Otherwise if you want to try drawing it before watching the lecture, u cant see half the details he's drawing.
My angle ist different, again, but I am happy, that you can see what it is supposed to be, after that messy start 😁

Hey Edsun, thank you for submitting your drawing from this lesson! The big thing I wanted to point out in this sketch is your cast shadow. When you're adding a shadow like this, be sure to fill it in with enough dark value where it feels like a dark shadow when you're squinting. Your shadow is currently quite sparse in hatching and is therefore feeling empty and not quite reading. Keep this in mind in general for future sketches; make sure that if you are going to introduce light and shadow, you keep them clearly distinct from one another.
It was a great example to practice with a brush pen.

Hey Meeho, thanks for your submission! Your drawing was quite solid; just make sure to always converge the lines to the vanishing points. Some lines (especially in the side car) are diverging away from the VP, instead of converging. Also, it couldn't hurt to bump up the contrast and fill in your shadows with a solid dark color!
