It’s time for the blob to box demo! In this one, I’ll show you a few examples of how to turn your blobs into boxes.
Im sorry but I just cant wrap my mind around this. I feel like I do better naturally just making the box. This feels like an extra step that just sort of distracts me. Im sure Im just not understanding but its another one of those things that I dont know what questions to ask in order to figure out what Im doing wrong.
Would love some advice on this. The past few lessons have been a challenge to understand and Im worried about advancing further.
The after-demo try, the coloured pencil really helped with keeping the lines clean! Though I still sometimes struggle to hold on to the shape of the initial blob.
These were really relaxing exercises after finishing the whole section on perspective. Let me know if there’s anything I could improve – I’d love your feedback!
I loved this project . I could ‘ see ‘ more . I had to revisit the girl with the guns as i think she’s cool . But i could feel a shift in what i saw . I know i need more prac . Any critique welcome .

Nice work! The second one looks more correct to me. Because we're looking up at her, we might see more of the bottom plane of the pelvis.
Had another go, this time focusing on depth in level 1 and crafting different blobs in level 2. I think some work still needs to be done on the proportions, and some of the boxes don't really fit the blobs too well. But at least they look like people.
Maybe not exactly according to the assignment, but I loved this pose (the witch in the Coen brother’s version of MacBeth 🤩) so much that I tried to create boxes there - with the help of Skelly.

started of more trying to fit the blobs into boxes akin to head boxes. realised my mistake and began to morph the blobs into more box like forms. occasional convergence point issues & unconfident line. feedback welcome.
