In addition to the assignment described in the video, here is a bonus assignment;
Bonus assignment - Using the images provided from Reference Pictures (this one is a free pack, used in this course with permission), do painting studies of each image. Pay close attention to where the core shadows are, and how the fade or fall off toward the shadow sides. This might be a rigorous study, but I promise you’ll learn so much by doing this exercise. It’s not meant to create art masterpieces, only to expose you to all the nooks and crannies of things you need to know.
Done with the first assignment! It was quite challenging but I sincerely hope to improve.
Didn’t do the value change on the cylinders and spheres since I understood that pretty easily.
Hey, I've just finished my rendering work. Overall, I'm happy with what I've done, the final look of my shapes manages to make me believe they're 3d shapes. Despite everything I can still see some mistakes but I'm open to more remarks or advice.
I finally managed to get everyting done. I've included the main series with and without the section changes for reference. I should also say the bonus assignment was completed long before the main assignment. Blending still remains something that I feel like I'm struggling with, and I'm unsure if I understood the lesson in its entirety, based on my execution.

hey guys I just finished rendering some forms as Ahmed assigned us to do, I had some problems with the donut🍩, couldn’t find the core shadow and the right level of blending as it transitioned to the shadow side🐦⬛, would love someone’s help or just some general feedback🙂↔️!!

Super solid work! Especially love the edge control being practiced here
Struggled with the donuts at first but after rendering the first ones, started to get the hang of it.
I finally feel like I understand basic rendering / painting and the path forward for improving at it.
