Assignment, follow along with me and trace a drawing from the provided edges.
From there apply edges to your tracing using the concepts covered in the lesson.
Out of all the edge varieties, the hardest to distinguish between the 2 was Soft & Firm edges. They seemed a little too similar at times to tell apart from squinting so I had to rely on preconceived knowledge of the bony areas to locate Firm edges.

always remember that you are wanting to keep it very clear what is shadow and what is light and keep your halftones lighter than they appear. This will help in identifying edges.
Didn't bother much with the hair on the smoking man, nor the wrinkles, so I feel like a lost a lot of his character by not focusing on these details.

I only concentrated on the face. You can see my computer keyboard through the tracing paper! LOL!
Hi Morgan,
I couldn't get workable quality printout of 2 photos. So I'm submitting only 2 out of 4. I don't have a good printing shop near me. In this assignment, there were places where I found it difficult to differentiate between Hard edge and Firm edge.
My attempt to focusing on edges. This was fun! Had some problems with smudging the tracing paper with my hand over and over though.

I get the point of the exercise, I’m just not sure I pulled it off with a pencil. And what’s up with the iPhone camera after this latest update? It forces warmer or cooler colors than are actual. 🤨 ugh. I’ll try another
