About instructor
Art is the conveyance of fundamental human truth, regardless of barriers attempting to conceal it.
As discussed in the video, for your assignment - Choose a simple subject (apple, lime, orange, lemon, etc) and paint it in the iterative process of 8 versions of it. Try different timing setups; 3 minutes, 5 minutes, and 10 minutes. There will be different results by the time you finish them. You will also begin to notice a development of confidence and style after doing enough of these.
Set up 5 different fruits (IN REAL LIFE, NOT PHOTO) with a light source (or two) on the scene
-Paint however much you can in 30 minutes
-Do it again until you have 4 paintings total.
I PROMISE your later paintings will be better than your first painting.
-You can cheat the system by going up to 8 times.
Using the same fruits as you would in Hard mode, invent a scene with floating fruits that look and feel realistic (or stylized) as long as it conveys light, form, shadow, and the illusion of reality. Let the objects cast shadows onto one another.
GOOD LUCK
