Here is my level 2 assignments
I had the feeling that you really need to trust the process and restrain yourself in the first steps of the drawing. At some point I was even compelled to start over, but this slow building up is eventually so helpful.
Any feedback is very welcomed !
And I'd like to give a shout out to the proko team for this course ! I looked back to the first assignment of "simplify portraits from observation" I made. Let's say that I see the difference between now and before...

Here is my attempt !
I started with pencil (HB, 2B, 6B)
Then multiple fine liner (I messed up a bit the line weight in both cases)
Following with a single 0.2 fine liner
And I finally tried a 6 blinded value scale

Initial attempt at this gestural architecture assignment. I have the feeling that something is off but I can not exactly tell what...
Sorry to keep messaging, but one other thing that occured to me, was to do with the focus of your drawing. The focus seems to be on both the roof and the supports on the side of building. It makes my eyes dance around the page a bit. Is there a way to make the eye flow from the door , up the curved roof to the tower?
I am still a beginner so I may be wrong, but I think it is the roof of the main building that looks weird, it looks like it is going against the perspective of the rest of the building. It looks almost twisted. I would be interested to see what other feedback you get. It's a lovely drawing though, made me smile.

Here is my first attempt for this assignment. I'm also trying to work on my shading technique so any critique on that is very welcomed !
Greetings @omegaduck . These are awesome. The only feedback I see here is the shape of the retina on the upper left eye. If you're drawing from a front view, the iris is more of a circle, if it's from a 3/4 view or profile then it's a bit more elliptical due to perspective. When it comes to shading, you may want to look into the different types of edges (soft edge, hard edge etc.) it will give you a chance to establish your shadows and lights. You can check Proko's take of those types of edges, or you can check Watts take on it as well. I hope it helps.
