Still need a lot of practice with this. I wasn't really satisfied with my fruits, ginger, and animals, so I went back and drew some pottery and blobs. On that attempt tried being looser and wrapping the cross-contour lines around the form properly.

I first attempt to do the bean by on my own (Labed as A.), then did the bean again after watching the demo (D.). I started sloppy at first just to get a feel for it. I was struggling on finding the twists and center lines intuitively, so I made a prop using 2 tennis balls and a sock. I also drew limbs and other features on the bean so I had a better idea on how it all ties together.

Here's a small sample of my gesture drawings. First two are 2 min, and the last one was 30 seconds.

I did the robo bean exercise several months ago, so I applied it here. Used nude models from SketchDaily.

Second Attempt after the critique: (1) saw some of you draw the flintstone car, so I took it upon myself to try it as well. (2) I drew a jeep and made a simple sketchup model to help me with the perspective. The shape looks off, so I should try to gesture and measure it in next time. (3) did some tutorials from Dan Beardshaw. Learned the general proportions of a car and got to practice some duplication.

This didn't turn out as well as I thought it would.

My second attempt at the project using different references. Started using value to differentiate the planes. Drew additional rhythm lines to help me with the rotation of the fingers. It also helped to find the eye level.

Lv 1 Again. I tried drawing the Y Axis first to make it easier. Although I'm just noticing that some of my axis is off, but I'm going to commit to it anyway.

My line quality and accuracy has gotten better. Although I'm struggling to draw doors and windows on the side walls. Still not having fun with this project. It's mostly because my visual library for indoor rooms is pretty low, so I end up drawing the same thing over and over. I will do some 1 point perspective draw alongs and references.

Did all of these in 45 min. Not used to drawing from imagination, nor am I use to drawing perspective from freehand. I thought I'd be fun to make a liminal room for the last sketch.
