Here are my blind value scales. It's aptly named because of the hours you'll spend staring at these tiny shaded squares.

Here's part 2 of the assignment.

Hello! I've attached part 1 of the assignment. Part 2 is to come! When is the deadline exactly? I didn't see a due date.
Sean Ramsey
Ahh thanks, we'll add the due date to the post. For this course it's usually 3-4 weeks

Aloha! Fun assignment. I wasn't sure how much bone and fat to show. I tried to gauge it with age and gender but I'm unsure if I got the mix correct.

Visual memory games, hoo-ha! For some strange reason, I kept thinking about that South Park episode with the member berries. Member Chewbacca? Anywho, another fun assignment in the books.

I had to draw all 20 from scratch because my previous work was so off. I took Michael's advice, grabbed a screenshot of the 8 steps, and placed it in the corner of my computer screen to remind me what order to go in. That helped immensely.

Level 2 tree house finished just in time.. With the perspective challenge ending and so many project assignments, it was such a busy week!

I love the design of the tree. It looks like a muscular person holding up the house.

Hello! Here's another batch of heads with proportional measurements added. I wasn't quite sure about number 4. The bottom of the jaw was problematic.

Hello, fellow Proko-ians! This took a lot longer than I thought. My main problem was figuring out which way to curve the sides. Should the torso always look bloated? Should I make the pelvis more bell-shaped or keep it square? How thick should the torso be?
Rachel Dawn Owens
It’s not an exact science. As long as they feel 3d, you’re on the right track. You have a lot of very dynamic poses here. Typically one side of the torso will be more curved than the other for poses like this. Notice the passive vs active parts of the body. A sort of ‘lemon’ shape could help. For the pelvis, I like a bell shape for feminine figures and a square shape for masculine types. This idea will help you finding the bones and muscles later on. But you don’t want to get too stuck overthinking for this project. It’s more about intuition and feeling. Maybe some flour sack drawings could loosen up your hand so you don’t overthink it.
