Your assignment is to edit your short film. Start by sorting through all of your footage, then figure out the shots you want to use for each moment. Then fine tune the timing of each transition, consider not just the video transitions but also audio transitions. Add crossfades to your audio to make it sound smoother. Also use some L cuts and J cuts.
Then add the music to your edit. Also record or download any sounds you need. Then add any effects to your sounds, such as reverb and lowpass filters.
