Your assignment is to go to your location with a camera and visually plan your blocking and compositions. I recommend getting a friend or two to help with operating the camera or acting as your characters. Act through your screenplay and explore your location for interesting camera angles. As you are planning your compositions, consider the eyeflow of your shots and focus on clear visual communication.

Take photos or video so you can make a rough edit of your story when you are done. The goal of this process is to discover new ideas and reveal any weak points of your screenplay. After you finish your photo storyboards, revise your screenplay with any changes you made to the story.

Then decide on what music you plan to use for your short film so you can make sure the performance matches it. I recommend looking for a music / sound effects library that you can download assets from for your projects and researching which option is best for you.
