I feel like I'm doing a better job at thinking through the anatomy as I draw. Observation alone can be deceptive.

it's a nice figure drawing, but beware of exagerating the anatomy too much, it might look disturbing. Subtler indications can render more beautifully, if that's what's wanted ..

Here are some more studies, after seeing Stan's example. I was having some issues with foreshortening on the first one and making sure the back was wide enough on the last one. I was hesitant to make the back very wide on the last one as the placement of the scapulae didn't look right. Any feedback or critique is greatly appreciated!

Looking good overall! - the first one feels a little flat. In a difficult pose like that, you might want to start with a robo bean first - I think the reason you're not getting the lat wide enough in the last one, is because you're not giving it any thickness near the armpit. Right now it's paper thin. I hope this helped :) Keep up the good work!

Hi! Can I get some feedbacks on the below study please? Watched the critique video and fixed things that I could spot but I still feel like there's something off in there.. Any help would be greatly appreciated here.

@soeybean Awesome work! The shading looks solid and very pleasing visually, the muscular anatomy looks right on spot, and I actually can feel a nice sense of gesture on the muscles on her right side. Great job! If you allow one piece of suggestion: I wouldn't skip the spine on the construction sketch - it is such an important and structural part of the body I think it's always helpful to keep track of where it is and how it looks underneath the surface, especially since it's a lower back study and most lower back muscles attach to it. Hope this helps!
