Hi here is my assignment for this lesson! I've drawn simplified version of ribcage from different angles as well as more realistic one to memorise the directions of the ribs better for each plane.

This makes so much more sense than the pelvis haha

Here are my attempts at the first five poses from the rib cage assignment. Any comments on proportions or perspective would be appreciated.

I think I’m starting to understand the bucket and ribcage, breaking it down into more structural volumes like cubes and rectangles is helpful.

Hello, just a quick thing that I've seen almost everyone do when completing this assignment - your lumbar section is too long. I think Stan says it in the critique video, but there should be exactly a fist size gap between the bottom of the ribs and the top of the pelvis, as you can grab that portion of muscle with your hands.
Of course there'll be people with slightly longer and shorter gaps, and this only applies if figure is not bending, but that should help you with proportion.
Keep it up!

This is my first post.
I would like to have some feedback on the ribcage I did with the simplified form, I struggled a lot with it so thanks in advance.

Sometimes my bucket has weird dimensions, and other times, when it's a front view, the connection between the spine and the rib cage is unclear. But damn, it still looks much better than what I was able to do last week.
Really great course so far. :)

Hello, this will be my first post ever. I'm very hesitant to post, as for the most part, I can self correct. However, the 5th pose (bottom left) has an angle of the rib cage that I don't get at all. Although I could probably figure it out, I think I'm looking for advices overall for the shape of the ribcage (no premium). I noticed that the post below mine has a robo bean trick, and I'll try it out after this. peace

"I've tried again!" I shout into the void. I'm still not entirely sure on the thoracic arch angle, but I do believe it's an improvement.

There's an Assignment here... but Proko doesnt say what the assignment is??? Unknowing what im supposed to do I just went ahead and drew boxes from memory and tried to then apply the form of the ribcage into them

Looking for feedback. Aware that I should have done a separate drawing just for insertion of the landmark muscles on the ribs.😬 it got a little messy.

For what it’s worth- to me number 2 looks like there isn’t enough leaning back of the rib cage, it looks too straight up and down. Number 3 is a bit difficult to read but I think the beveled edges coming in to the spine are too wide and sore, thing is off re the alignment of the rib cage-mnotmsure how.
