Here's my first attempt at sculpting on the armature. Tried to get the gesture without focusing too much on anatomy. Took around 45 minutes. Reference: https://i.pinimg.com/736x/e0/70/89/e07089ff4a92275dd3df5074965297e2--dance-poses-people.jpg I think I should have brought the lower ribcage out a bit more.
LESSON NOTES

In this demonstration, I'll show you how I go about creating a gesture study based on a photo. This can be difficult, since unlike when working with Master studies, we rarely have the luxury of exaggerated forms and poses. Let me show you how I tackle this challenge.

This time I'm going to use the wire armature without improvising. I'm lying down to use the planes and thus simplify the primary and secondary masses. In my head, I see Azaro's planes and also the future I imagine $ If I think about the masses by concentrating on the planes, it's much simpler, as he proposed in the simplification/abstraction, and that's fortunate.

Below is my attempt, using the same reference photo as you did. Honest critiques are welcome. This is only my third attempt at sculpting. My apologies for the poor photo quality and angle. I'm working with an android here.

Hey @Andrew Joseph Keith , The armature and the sculpture with clay:
Andrew Joseph Keith
Looking good! It feels like it might be getting a little too bulky so you might try thinning the torso and hips down a bit. Keep it up!
