This one I procrastinated awhile... Shame on me I know. I watched the live stream first to get an idea. I Didn't want to copy the stream so i chose a completely different animal and tried my hand at it. I did 4, I tried others(not shown) but they were shameful, so I stuck with these ones shown and even then I really didn't like them. 2 Were simple shapes, 1 was stylized, and 1 semi-realistic. I'll add more animals to this soon.

Your lions are looking great! I can tell you placed the lines thoughtfully. The 2 with simple shapes have personality and the realistic one is really cool. Keep up the practice!

Shout out to Christina Leone(the artist) I did this 2 times and in both times I ended up with a Fat Jaw. The first one is an attempt to copy, shading and all. While my second attempt was Line art only. What I tried to do is emphasize the shadow and places of interest. To rep. the shadow, I used thick lines but lighter, While the areas of Focus I tried to make those lines darkest, also I tried to use surrounding areas and line thickness to direct back into the face. I think I achieved the opposite of what I was trying to do.

here is another master study, This one I am particularly proud of its not perfect or exact but I think I got what I wanted from it. The Image is from AKIHITO YOSHITOMI he is a manga master and does some AMAZING High detailed work it's hard to find any of his simpler works. I\His style is he uses short confident "scratches" then goes over it with ink in a similar matter but more precise. I attempted to replicate his style throughout, but when it came to the tree leaves there was no way I could copy it so I Improvised using his quick scratchy style and put a little of my flare into it.. i think the 2 parts that were the most difficult were, the legs do to for shortening in the torso(trying to get proportions right) the legs are still not perfect by any means. and the bow/ribbon flapping in the wind below the neck.

I opted to use charcoal for this, just to get some practice with the medium.. and this was traced with a combination of tri-grp and over hand.

My Hand is Absolutely terrible not happy with it so i kept doing it over and over, still not where I'd like it. the penguin is ok, my best work is the stylized VR girl. (I know I messed up the placement of the left hand so i improvised to make it look like it was intentional).
Rachel Dawn Owens
These look great! The hands feel a bit stiff but that’s ok. Some gesture practice might help with that. I like that you improvised the hand on the VR girl. Part of learning to draw means learning to solve problems creatively.

The Laces were a Nightmare. still not completely completely happy with them. with that said I think the snail is ok, (i know my straight lines could use work; the wood)
Charlie Nicholson
Not bad! One tip is to lightly ghost the lines of forms that are behind other elements so you can do them in one go- right now the lines of the wood the snail rests on feel disconnected from one side to the next

My first Assignment, I had my pick to do traditional or digital. I opted to do traditional., I have never really Tried to simplify so much. I'm Ok with the attempt but i think i could have done better so.... I made 2 attempts...I guess the good news is My Daughter new exactly what fruit it was with no hints..
