I'm not particularly happy with how I did these, but I'm not sure I can pinpoint exactly what's wrong with them. I will probably revisit this and do some more refined HTB heads.

I found this a really helpful assignment, and I was able to identify that I struggle the most with reflected light, like determining where it would be strongest.

My intention with this study was to spend at least 2 hours on it, because I have a bad habit of rushing when I draw. However, I only ended up spending 1 hour on it, because I felt like as I continued to try and refine it I was making the values muddy. Does anyone else have this problem, and any advice?

After checking the solution for the monkey, I went back and had another go and tried to pinpoint where I felt like I was consistently making mistakes (not going dark enough, giving the AO too much of a direction, etc)

The cube gave me a bit of trouble ngl, I'm still not 100% sure I understand how the ambient occlusion works with the indent in the top.
