Asked for help
Hello! On some of then I tried to place facial features and I noticed that sometimes I draw the top of the head a bit small. Certainly I see improvement on the latest constructions compared to the first one :) I would love to receive some feedback so I can apply it to my next project.
Thank you!

I feel like maybe I should use even thicker lines for the most dark parts but it didn't feel right for me for some reason. I didn't want to make it cartoony so I was trying to find some interesting shapes which I could fill them in and avoid making them so repetitive. Thank you, I actually did the exercises few times to find out which lines I like the most :)

Hello this is my assignment. I decided to draw a seahorse due to their fantastic shapes and interesting curves :) Here are some sketches I did using referances and the last one is my final pick.

My first attempt before watching demo. It might be hard to see the lines of the robot girl, partly because of the paper and doing it lightly but also I am sure I did smudge some graphite as well :) Drawing with coloured pencils makes it a bit more visible.

Hi @Patrycja, nice drawings! Good job using clean confident and simple lines. The proportions and sense of form is also pretty good 👍
- Try to look more for the difference between lines. Nature often provide us with a rich variety, which we tend to "straighten up" and make more regular. If we look at the legs in your drawing for example, they all look very similar, a bit like the same leg has been copy pasted, but in the photo there is a richer variety. Angles vary more, and so does lenghts, widths etc. Getting variety is not easy, but you'll get better at this with practice, but I just wanted to point it out; keep an extra eye out for variety and try to get it in your drawings. I might even dare say: get as much variety as possible. A fun challange in a line exercise like this, could be to have as a goal to never repeat a line; that all lines should have a different lenght for example. That could encourage you to start looking even more for variation.
- The skeleton has some interesting details. Since Stan suggested simplification, maybe there are ways that we could make your drawing simpler. The teeth for example, could they be grouped into longer, simpler lines? Or could at least each tooth be drawn with simpler lines? What bumps can you smooth over without loosing the character of the subject?
I hope this helps :)
PS: Next time, please post your assingment under the assignments tab in the lesson that you're submitting for 😎👍 (for this assingment https://www.proko.com/course-lesson/project-simplify-to-csi/assignments )

Before watching demo. Certainly drawing shoes for the first time was challenging.

Project 2 - Simplifying with CSI Level 15mo
Hello, this is drawn before watching demo. I tried to symplify boots by drawing boxes but I wasn't sure how I want to place it, at the end I decided to combine boxy shape with oval and attach to the main cylinder. I have to say that it was challenging but satisfying. Certainly by looking at the reference I wouldn't normally decide to draw it but I'm pleased with my work. I was expecting worse results. Would love to receive feedback on my work. :)

Looks good. Be careful where you put the highlights.

Oh yes, it looks like I skipped one value. Thank you for your feedback. I will keep this in mind on the next project.

Hey guys! I bought today premium version of drawing a portrait! Haven't started watching yet but I draw a portrait before. I didn't try to copy exactly like it's on referance but I would like to know if there is something wrong? (I'm sure it is). I am very excited that this course include hair drawing because I don't really like the way I did it. I am trying to draw at least one portrait and I will post one after finishing this entire course. Please leave some feedback, I will appreciate it a lot :)
