Here's my submission for this month's Proko Challenge!
I am a scientist that studies ancient plants, environments and climates so my ideal movie would obviously be a sci-fi time travel adventure involving getting stuck in the distant past and trying to survive on a very strange Earth (think something a lil bit Avatar and a lil bit Jurassic Park). Most of my research focuses on the continent of Gondwana during the Permian period, which I think would be a fascinating setting for a movie. Dinosaurs hadn't yet evolved but there were still all sorts of interesting reptiles that would make for some cute and also some very scary moments. Gorgonopsian therapsids were kind of like the saber tooth tigers of their time and would be very fun monsters to make some real tense scenes with. I'm really loving the other submissions on here! Good luck all!

I would definitely want to watch that video. I loved the first Jurassic Park and your period is not that well known. I expect science and scary moments :D.The landscape looks awesome!
Hi all! This is my submission for June's Prokochallenge. The title of my movie, as you can see is called " The Dream Catcher" The main genre of my movie plot is fantasy, the style would be in the form of an animation. The medium of this poster is done in digital form. Plot: The protagonist is a 16-year-old-boy, who happens to be me. In this vast world, he paints another realm where he seeks out for adventure and the collections of more dreams, reflecting his daydreamy and creative , idealistic nature in reality. The machine( as seen in the foreground) is the main vessel and extractor which sucks in and bottles up the positive dreams and ideas that the boy yearns for, which he immerses in. However, due to the hyperactive imagination, he breeds dark dreams in this mental realm where he has to battle and eradicate. In the end, he realised that they were not meant to be eliminated, but ultimately, to be tamed , and embraced. For more of my art, you may follow my Instagram account @tkrz_arts. Thanks for the approval of this post! Hope you like it!
This poster is about my art journey, specifically when the pandemic hit, and I had just turned 30.
Growing up, I was discouraged from pursuing art in any way and was sometimes even told that I'm not talented enough to be an artist.
They may be right about my lack of talent. But part of my quarter-life crisis was this realization that even in art, if you put in the effort, you improve. I feel like age 30 was when I really embraced this idea and started to commit work towards it.
Getting back to the poster, the zombies in the background are everything in my life that was holding me back from fully connecting with art, such as self-doubt and lack of self-agency. I broke out of the prison that I grew up in, took a swing at the zombies, and gained a couple of art skill points along the way (hence the paint on my spiky baseball bat and clothes). Maybe due to the abruptness of the escape, I don't feel perfectly equipped to navigate the art world yet, like a freshly made game character that's still picking up gears from tutorial quests. So that's why I'm walking around barefoot.
Well, that's about it for the summary, haha. Thank you for reading this far, and good luck everyone! :)
The story really resonate with me! love the piece, especially the brush strokes!
This piece is really cool - love the simple pallet and graphic design. Great work!
Absolutely stunning brushwork, I adore the graphic nature of the hair and bat, my best wishes :)
Hello and nice to meet you!
I really love how the story goes and I really love how you keep on going! Thank you for sharing your story here! And the concept art that you got here's amazing!! 💜🌻
I love the design and colours you've used in this piece, awesome work and composition
This is awesome! I love the pose and those brushstrokes. It reminds me of Planet Terror with Rose McGowan.
"The Blade of Korus"
This is Korus. His goal is not justice or being a hero. He is here just to make the job done. Yet nobody can say what he really does, for dead don’t speak.
Hey and nice to meet you!
Ooh I'm really interested in what's gonna come up, like the curiosity kicks in to make me click on this and put it on the wishlist, and hey! This is such a nice artwork, with great pose and also the color choices! 💜🌻
