While doing each character's exploration I stumbled on this idea of making the owl a sort of mentor figure and the Fennec fox an excited pupil. It was extremely fun!

It was fun seeing the lvl 2 demos and critiques after doing the exercises. I saw just how hard skelly got me there with all the crazy detail, haha! Super fun! Must simplify more! I will definitely coming back to this exercise later on.

Beautiful work! I love how you simplified it, plus the accuracy and pencil control are great. Just be careful going too dark too soon -- the value scales have a good progression between each step, but when approaching the actual drawing, it seems like the first light grey starts off darker than in the scale. You're off to a great start though, I can't wait to see your future work! :)
