Hello! these are my work after watching the csi critique, i made a small project Those plants were the most brutal, it was hilarious, i thought i was going to have a wonderful time doing them because they look so flowy and fun, so many curves, it's the perfect subject to practice csi right? i wasn't wrong though, but the fun came after a painful process of measuring their proportions measuring the proportion of those plants was a brain torture, i only measured the proportion of each plant once, all the second plants (on the right sides) are using the first plant as a base then i draw on the top of it(not to be confused with tracing), i skipped the measuring process, i just wanna get into the csi part, not measuring proportions, more flowy lines, exaggerations, shapes, just more fun overall I was also having a hard time with simplifying foreshortened things, such as:   1.The proportion of the insect with pink shell was off 2.White neck cat on the first column was difficult, it's foreshortened, idk what's going on with its back leg 3.Grey cat on the second column + third row was also difficult, it's foreshortened, simplifying its arms was hard 4.The kangaroo on the second column at the bottom was off, it's slightly tilted forward, i can see its front face, there's even a cast shadow there, but i turned them into a side view, it looks really flat Those goat horns were a slight whip, not highly accurate, but i'm glad with the result, i was just capturing the essence, they're enough for now Horses are where i'm having the most fun, they're not easy though, they're foreshortened, i have to fight the tendency to make them look like a side view The skulls was a pretty chill process

These are so good! Nicely done, and it is inspiring to see and now I want to create this type of project!

My submission for the portrait. Still had a bit of trouble with the mid-tones.

I had the same problem Sean. It does seem like your fundamentals are strong though. Keep up the good work.

I ended up doing both prompts. I definitely did a better job at maintaining the hard shapes on the pear. Any opinions on how I can improve?

I've fused my favorite ideas together in a new sketch for the pumkin-bull. After that I just wanted to clean him up in Procreate but I lost track of time... Sorry...

These are amazing! I really like how you worked them to be evolving. I feel like this creature could be seen in a stage fight in a dark souls type game.
