Here's my first pair of rough ideas for Anti-hero for the challenge, I want to end in a ink composition, so I'm working the design of the character first, but I haven't draw in a while and I'm doing these out of my head, and I'm never sure what drawing aspect to work on while doing this, also I feel like a have this bad habit of rushing things trough. Also whenever I try to draw from imagination I end up defaulting to the same boring pose and angles. Any advice on what to work on here other than using reference? Because I am going to do that too.
hey bro, why are you trying to draw without reference? if you are a beginner you should learn to see how parts of the body are connect whit each other and flows, if not, you cant imagine a body to put on some advanced position.
the best to learn this is search for photos of sports like basketball ball, pay attention an draw.
I don´t know if you like manga, but I would check for some pages of Air Gear and Slam Dunk.

Hi! Here are my entry for the Demon Prince and some preliminary sketches. And as a Prince I think he should have some little servants. Done with liners and watercolors. Cheers!

i think you are confident whit forms and probably ready to push gesture more , may be use more poses, look on some sports to make it easier, nice job.

hey, I really love the skull design and the pose like he´is screaming ! may be another layer of buildings between the monster and the others could help with the illusion of depth but anyways i like the overal atmosphere .
