LESSON NOTES
What's in Premium?
We tackle how to draw a complex object like a grand piano by breaking it down into simple, measurable units. You will learn how to use orthographic views, like top and side floor plans, to establish accurate proportions before moving into a perspective view. We cover practical techniques for multiplying squares to measure depth, plotting tricky curves by projecting points from a ground plane, and handling symmetry. You will also see why making smart design choices, like shifting a lid to avoid awkward tangents, is sometimes better than strict accuracy. Finally, we discuss how to emphasize overlaps and corners so your final drawing maintains its sense of depth.

I do the cast shadow thing too, plotting an object on a floor first. I was really glad to see someone else do the same :o Enjoyed this very much, thanks Yves
It was fun to do this demo for Marshall's class. I learned a few things about pianos too from Marshall as he art directed me through the demo.
More demos to come in the future! Really excited about the next onese ;)
Thanks for the great Piano Demo Yves Yumol and Marshall.
