ASSIGNMENTS
- Draw 20 primitive forms and wrap random shapes around them.
- Draw 20 wrapped primitives without an underdrawing.
- Reference and draw at least 10 objects that display wrapping (try to include dragon inspired animals).
Drawing soft-bodied animals proved way harder. Hope I understood the assignment correctly. Anyway, already looking forward to improving!
Mental work out! Its crazy how now drawing the other side of an object just feels easier now. not saying im close to perfect but now it doesn't feel like im gonna break my brain to do it.
Hi, I didn’t realize they were so light. I just made them darker so hope you can see them better. Any critic you can give me is very much appreciated as the drawing are very rough and I’m a beginner artist.
Here are my assignments for wrapping. I don't know if I oversimplified the third task.
Wrapping pt 1. I really feel like those exercices perfectly fit, for amateur like me, the gap between 'draw a box' and finished piece. There struggle is real, but fun :D
Like usual some turned out decent others not so much. Will continue to practice this.
