Draw 20 of a primitive cylinder and box with a manipulated contour (40 total).
Draw 20 forms with a more complex version of manipulation (at least 2 types of manipulation).
Reference and draw at least 5 organic objects that display multiple forms of manipulation, including contour manipulation.

It felt better than I expected, but I realize I wasn't fully true to the reference when I was rotating the objects. Plus I stylized things more, and some parts you inevitably have to make up.

Well, now I am in the cross contour phase and I loved how to retrieve old memories of drawing, I just need time to build up the perspective memory in my memory, because it was never when I was young when I learned to draw, so it is a very important stage at this time to develop my skill to form a special style later in an elaborate and distinctive way

Thanks for posting your work. I find your simple shapes here helpful in my own studies. Just by looking at them helps me. I mean as long as I can apply what I pick up from it. All your shapes seem so fluid and confidently drawn. Is this because of years and years of practice or have you done some quick geometric sketches as an under drawing and then draw over that with more confidence in how the object is structured. All your shapes are well done but I particularly enjoy the contoured shapes. I've put off the designing dragons lessons so I could focus on color studies elsewhere. But I've been feeling like its time to take a break on the color lessons and complete another module with the dragons. I get the feeling that the lessons from the designing dragons course will be helpful in more then just designing dragons. Good stuff mate. Cheers!

Here are my assignments for contour manipulation. This was definitely challenging but fun.

I really liked making tail like tapering shapes from imagination, but I fell down on the last part of the assignment. I Can't seem to apply it to references too well, something I need to practice.
