It felt better than I expected, but I realize I wasn't fully true to the reference when I was rotating the objects. Plus I stylized things more, and some parts you inevitably have to make up.

This one was very chill and meditative almost. Great to have for a warm-up!

Drawing soft-bodied animals proved way harder. Hope I understood the assignment correctly. Anyway, already looking forward to improving!

Struggled with this one a lot, but started to get it by the end. Still no stabilization :)

Hi! Second assignment. Had a lot of fun with this one, I'm feeling way more confident eyeballing these shapes!

My first assignment! As I usually draw digitally, done this on my tablet as well, but without any stabilization whatsoever. Did erase though 😬 Proved to be harder than I thought, will try to make my lines more intentional. I feel like on paper you get some stabilization just through friction alone.
This is a Librarian. A relic of the past, they roam the planets their masters once inhabited. Without a purpose, these fearsome machines slowly began to loose their grip on reality and randomly morph between the forms familiar to them. As they age, more errors occur, and more and more they resemble tumorous growth rater than almighty machines. However, they are still fearsome and will protect their homeworlds with no constraints from their masters.
I was largely inspired by nanites and all the organisms that inhabit our world but seem totally alien in structure. Foraminifers, dinoflagellates, caddisfly larvae and sea urchins were among my references. I also like to explore ideas of machines going malignant in trying to fulfill their purpose no matter what. Games like SOMA, as well as imagery from Evangelion, Annihilation and Rakka were all my inspiration.
First Proko challenge yay!
