I took my previous sketches and added more details. I can already feel that I understand the shape of the face better. It’s like I knew it before, but since I’ve drawn it from different angles a lot, I can now navigate the skull structure more confidently.

Here, I've developed the head further and experimented with some inner lighting. It was a challenge to get the light falloff right.
Is the value shift from blue light falloff towards orange, or is it just a shift within the blue color range? I leaned more towards the red/pink spectrum.
