Draw 5–6 full figures using half-lock and spiral folds.

• Start with your map
• Build the mannequin understructure
• Add the 2 new folds first (half-lock and spiral), then complete the garment with pipe and diaper folds

Tips

• Stick to the four folds you know: pipe, diaper, half-lock, spiral. Edit out anything that isn't one of these
• It’s fine to do a couple of drawings isolating just one arm or leg to get a feel for the spiral or half lock. But keep the majority as full figures so you hold onto the shape, silhouette, and map as part of your process.
