These are really good learning examples. I'm surprised by the cast shadow of the third photo. Did you hold the light source very closely and almost parallel to the egg?

The texture and colour of the background caused changes in the colour of the egg. The same picture in black and white shows it even more. In the first three the light source was bright white, in the last two more yellow.
