This one is all in one drawing. Now that I'm looking at it again I don't love the tibia shapes...I'll improve that next time.
LESSON NOTES

In the last lesson we learned the anatomy of the leg bones. If you haven’t seen that video yet, go watch it. You can also download the images for this assignment in the downloads tab.

This drawing demonstration shows how to draw the femur, the patella, the tibia, and the fibula. Use the demo to check your own work. If you haven't done the assignments yet, go do those now.

Today’s work for assignment 5 after some practice with the knee ( 3rd photo). There I traced the image of the bones and at the same time tried to simplify the forms.

To be able to draw assignment 5 and 6 on my own, I discovered that the lesson ‘How to draw the knee’ (and the e-Book on Leg Bones) is necessary to work through first!  Maybe it’s only me but without these - and a better knowledge of perspective - I can only make bad drawings in the assignment section or simply copy the examples. Or maybe I’m just becoming aware of how to study better?…  Anyway - this whole course is brilliant. I have studied anatomy before (not drawing) and always liked it, but this course here is definitely the most fun :-)
