When I had trouble seeing the oblique form under the skin, I just drew a ribcage and pelvis in another layer. Give me your thoughts.

Obliques Assignment 2. I really wanted to work with Skelly today but the power went out so I started with a few illustrations by Vesalius. Then, the power came back on and I also did a couple of Skelly.

I tried to draw obliques on skelly from memory, while adding the love handles on top of it to complete the shape. But wow, it's hard, especially from the back view. Looking at it now, I think I should have make the abs more bumpy when compressed. It looks like paper on the bottom left one. Also I lost the perspective of my center line on the bottom abs of the 2nd drawing.

After watching the other videos, I tried my luck again with the obliques, this time from imagination. I think it looks better already.

@Avinash It has been a while, but I thought I would mention that there is a "how to" text file in the download section of the Anatomy course explaining how to get a free DeAngelo reference pack. This was something I missed. There are some nice references for this assignment in there. There are reference packs for the figure drawing as well for people who looked over it
