In the morning I drew along with this lesson, in the evening I tried some hands on my own. Please let me know what you think
Great lesson! But it would be really helpful if we could see the reference photo's you were using.
Where to find the reference pictures? They don't appear in the video and are not available for download.
I never really practice drawing hands but I'm very happy with the way they turned out. Definitely found it difficult at times but I thoroughly enjoyed the process and I'm looking forward to drawing more of them
I drew the hands along with you. When the reference image was shown, I first tried drawing it on my own, then followed along with your demonstration and drew it again.
I noticed so many interesting force directions and design choices in the second pass. Adding those details made the hands feel much more realistic. I really loved how different the redraw looked, and I learned so much from the process. Thank you so much!
I can watch Rembert draw and explain all day long. Had a blast following along, hands are intimidating, but going to just keep at it.
Its funny how you mention “bah it looks ok I guess”, and to me everything you drew looks great. Another great lesson
Following along was helpful, but I do wish we had a flash of the reference to help see how you first capture the big shapes. Perhaps a download could remedy this.
Oh, I've been meaning to draw hands for a long time—hopefully I'll get around to it soon—your hands have turned out really professional.
I drew the hands along with you, and when the reference image was shown, I first tried it myself and then try to incorporated your input. That was incredibly helpful, thank you so much!
Is there a link to the references used in this video? Or is it fine to just follow along with the drawings themselves.
