They look fantastic and you've definitely hit the flow:-)
@brimarie
That was a great exercise. It also stimulates the imagination and I noticed that it's not that easy to come up with things... Any feedback and suggestions for improvement are very welcome:-)

Looks great! Love how you even got multiple rounded objects into the drawing. If you're up for more practice, I encourage you to try it with different placements for the horizon line, like a lower horizon line with at least a couple of objects placed above it, so there's more variety in the challenge.

Had a rough time getting into this. However, I found great inspiration from previous student projects below and finally got in the zone and enjoyed the process. Took inspiration from Franklin Booth and Bernie Wrightson for the clouds, simple yet effective! I could've made the buildings more gestural, might give it another go before moving on to the treehouse.

Your composition is wonderful. I also love your lines because you've created depth with them too. Great job!

They all turned out great. My favorite is the cat on the book:-)

I always have difficulties with the same topic... I still find myself drawing the picture 1:1 instead of focusing on the rhythm and understanding the form as such. Once you understand the form, you can adapt it - which is something I really want to learn! Any advice is very welcome:-)

Second attempt:-)

Hi everyone, here are my rhythms. After watching all the demonstrations, I repeat all the poses. Some are more difficult than others. I'm amazed at Proko's precision when drawing lines. Now I understand his 20 years of experience. It seems incredible to me that such a thing can be achieved, but oh well, we'll have to be patient...

Hello Louis I just looked at your pictures and I'm thrilled - you got the rhythm and movement very well and every picture turned out great!

Here are my 3 objects for this first exercise: a boat, drawn from a painting (whose author I haven't found), an old telephone, and an oil lamp, drawn from photos. These 3 objects share an aesthetic that I like, and that made me want to draw them. They also bring back childhood memories and emotions. The boat reminds me of pirate movies and the world of sailors. Adventure, freedom, but also danger, the harsh life... The telephone is a familiar object from my childhood, associated with a whole host of memories. It also reminds me of old movies: the telephone on the detective's desk in old thrillers. For me, it also symbolizes communication, as long as the line is not cut. The oil lamp reminds me of the power cuts on stormy nights, the house plunged into a mysterious darkness... It was a pleasure to return to traditional paper and pencils and immerse myself in my memories!

Asked for help
My attempts at shading spheres. I started by really taking my time. Then I tried to speed up by taking inspiration from the demos and trying a more spontaneous technique: using more of the tip of the pencil for line work and less of the side of the lead. However, I haven't really managed to keep to the 5 minutes yet and I must have gone a bit overboard. Then I trained with some pictures from Lane's Primitive Forms Reference Pack
