Recent hand study that I did. With this one I used the simple method of twisting 5 wires together for the forearm and then had the twisting end at the wrist to separate the wire into the thumb and fingers. I just used my left hand as a reference for this sculpture which is a great exercise. If you haven’t tried to do a hand study yet give it a try and you can close one eye and look through the sculpture at your hand to check the proportions, angles, and widths of the hand from many angles.

Hi there! Found this method super useful and far more realistic than the previous method. I made a pair in the half scale shown in the video, and was also able to get them working on a 1/6 scale armature, please tell me what you think!
