The more you practice drawing the simple forms like boxes, cylinders, and spheres, the easier it will be to grasp the more complicated forms like eyes, eyebrows, noses and lips.

Learning to draw really good boxes may be a great start! Have you tried Drawabox? It teaches great fundamentals that can then be used for advanced concepts like in portraiture
