Here is my assignment. In my opinion this is the best section of this course so far, not only because we are beginning to apply the shapes concepts to humans in a serious way, but all the stuff learned in the previous lessons are coming togheter to guide in the process. Even if they are not quite right yet, it's actually the first time I'm drawing human figures and in the same time I'm almost understanding what I'm doing.. It's like magic.

So.. I did ninja turtles by Coran Kizer Stone and Wolverine by David Finch. I love Finch's ink style, with this one I felt the sense of violence he wanted to convey to the drawing... I tried to learn the energy of his lines, actually it was quite difficult, but also fun!

Hi fellows, here are my 2 attempts for the assignment. Next time I'll try from observation, without tracing.

I had so much fun with these. Drawing lines like a samurai drawing his katana made me feel more confident, even if I still had some hesitation at times, especially in short curves or small details.

Lv 2 Skully. I think I overdid with details in the neck, I was being hypnotized by the bones and veins and things... I just lost track of the purpose of the assignment

Day 14. The Head pen holder. I decided to shade this after having traced the first contour lines.. So the result is a bit messy. Anyway, it was a pleasure to complete this challenge. 30 min to draw was hard to respect, I had to make fast decisions and stay with them even if i realized later that they were not the best (like in this case). But this will help me to take the right decision immediately, without waiting a lifetime on the drawing just to decide how to do it..

Very nice! I think vehicles are great examples of geometric non-organic draws with a little bit of variety in design and little details. I found them really useful for lerning things like perspective or line quality.

Tried the lv 1...the boots's laces just melted my brain. It was really hard to focus on simplify with all that interweaving of lines so dense.
