Here are my attempts at this project. Definitely feel like there is room for imrpovement. Especially the camel gave me a really hard time. I noticed at the end that I push my pencil too hard, so I'm going to try to focus on that from now on.
Any other critique is very much welcome!

I agree, i think you can work on loosening up on your pencil a bit. You have a great eye for proportions, so take a bit of the pressure off yourself to get perfect lines on the first try and start very lightly, ‘search’ for the right line. You’ll pull more energetic, gestural strokes that way. These are looking great though, keep up the good work!

I tried to do some of my own after this demo. The likeness and proportions are definitely not there yet, but I do think that I got the understanding of the loomis head in 3/4 view down. Any critique or tips are very welcome!

Asked for help
My attempt at the assignment. The highlights in the drawing with the pear might not be the clearest, because the pencils that I used were not that dark. I used darker pencils for the portrait one.
