Instead of several blobs, it seems better to draw the outline of the whole object and then add curves. Then box it. Although, I'm still not sure how to make the box that fits the object.
Before we begin, I wanted to share to share my definition of what a Vanishing Point is: When straight parallel lines rotate around a point. These lines are parallel when viewed at their front, without showing any depth. But when they converge towards a point, the length of these lines line change (Fore-shortening). When the shapes are flat and there’s no diminution or convergence, this is called ‘Orthographic View’ or Orthos for short. In 3D modelling programs, 3D objects in this view can still have foreshortening due to the angle, but not because they’re converging. Also, all the parallel lines of the same structure typically rotate around the same point, but not necessarily.

This is from a game called Monument Valley. Its doesn’t appear to use vanishing points, so it entirely in a flat 2D orthographic view. But I wanted to learn how to draw things from different angles and taking bits of these buildings will be good for that. Maybe. I could try and add my own perspective lines.
I’m not an artist yet, but I got some advice from someone who is. They said that any movement with your hand will improve your drawing.
