Hey David and Creatures Community! Had a few ideas for this one: started by practicing my own rendition of your idea, then trying a centaur ape creature, and didn’t love that so moved to the spider monkey. pretty cool but still didn’t feel totally satisfied so tried an ape reptilian lizard or snake creature, which I actually like a lot! What do you guys think? Thoughts/critiques? Thanks! Love the course so far can’t wait for more! :D

19/2/2023 Day 7 of Marc Burent’s Schedule! This time I was Drawing Cubes floating in “various” angles! (Even though I don’t think I tried to bring variety due to lack of perspective knowledge). Note to Self: Next time look up References of Cubes in different angles before attempting.

Is it Possible to download the file of Robo Skelly, i would love to 3D print him. Or does any one know a simple accurate skeleton on the web? I would also pay a couple of bucks :)

Hey! I would highly recommend to study a little more about the fundamentals. Right now, I can tell from looking at your work that you learned a lot about the triceps and its individual muscles. But the proportions of the overall figure are quite off here and there. Also, your linequality would benefit a lot from more and focused practice. Maybe take a break from anatomy and do those things first :) But keep in mind: no matter what you draw, as long as you do it regurlarly and consume good art meanwhile, you will improve!

This is the place to submit final drawings for critique? This one is a pencil drawing. Going to make an other one with conté pencils now that I ordered them. Any comments / critiques?

Looks great! Maybe its just me, but i think the legs are a little bit too short. But hey, shading and the overall figure itself looks awesome!

Hi first time posting, I didn't know exactly where to put these but I started them back in Proko.com 1.0. I decided it would be best for me to do "skelly" versions of the rib cage and summary assignments, as I was having a bit of trouble with it all and this way I could take my time on each piece. I will say I didn't know how to draw out a loomis head until example 5 where I went over to that lesson I just figured it out. I bought a bundle of courses and figured anatomy was the one start with. I would really appreciate feedback on the spine and ribcage because I feel like I'm always too stiff, narrow, wide or long with both. I drew these in photoshop, and did use a ruler tool for some of it. Other than that, just the brush tool. Thanks in advance!

Maybe it is a little bit late to answer but the main issues I see are perspective problems. I think you copied the contours, especially on the pelvis. I would suggest drawing simple forms first and then try to fit them inside. (box for the ribcage, cylinder for the pelvis). But I think you made the right decision to draw skelly first. Also, I really like the sketchy feel at first I thought it was drawn on real paper. :D
