Shading with mechanical pencils wasn't the most time efficient idea I ever had.

Hope I'm not jumping "ahead" too much! These models are fun to work from! Pencil rough then fountain pen. Should I just stick with ballpoint or fountain pen only?

The graphite degree system was invented by Franz Hardtmuth. When naming the grades, he chose H for Hardtmuth, F for Franz, and B for Budějovice, the city in which the pencil factory is located.
So while the F pencil may seem like an outlier, its name isn't completely arbitrary.

Hey Kyler! 👋 Ol' Franz was a bit self-grandising eh? I can't believe that grading stuck after all these years and has been confusing people for generations! What a jerk! Hahaha

I did a few hand and foot studies and some figure invention on the right side there! Should I do more skeletal studies of the hands and feet? Thanks again!

Hat guy (3-4 hours maybe?) and gal (1 hour or less) were done in Clip Studio Paint, First time using that program and I loved it! Spear guy (about 1- 2 hrs.) was done in Photoshop... I really got to start timing myself more... Looking forward to seeing what's next for us!
