Super helpful project! Used the timer tool to get the blobs down quickly, and then took some time to refine in passes.

I did a few of these. I've done this lesson before and I don't feel like it's my strongest skill. Not that the ideas aren't useful, especially the idea of stretch and pinch, but I apparently am not great at drawing ovals.

Busy week this week, but I wanted to participate before the deadline.
Great job, everyone!

I found this kind of tough but I had fun. My mind wants to turn the cylinders to face more of the front view for some reason so I drew a lot of cylinders, lol hopefully I got some of them at the right angle.
I animated a quick turnaround. To see the GIF files you have to click on the image and click the 3 dots and open the original

i love trucks - i constructed a generic semi with saddle.
I don't love tanks too much tho. They are way too present these days for my taste. May they all rust in peace soon.

Did another attempt at the first hand. Lol I did an animation of how I feel when trying to figure it out, but its always good to have a little bit of challenge. Overall, I feel like I'm getting an understanding of it. I will keep trying. (For the animation you have to hit the top right 3 dots after clicking the chicken and click Open Original)

This was challenging, I drew each hand a few times and still feel like I missed the proper angles. I had trouble connecting the boxes and definitely had trouble with the foreshortening. Can anybody explain how to overlap the boxes properly? Thanks in advance.

Redoing the assignment. Adding more as I do them

Nice demos, I'll go back and work on some of the other portraits that I haven't done. I did get a little carried away with rendering when I should have just continued onto another portrait but for new ones, I'll spend the time just doing lay ins. Thank for the explanations, was eye opening for me.

I did another one that I felt was hard for me to test myself. I spent a lot of time on this because I usually have trouble with portraits that have a up shot. I got so into it I ended up rendering it. Not sure if I nailed the likeness or not but I'm liking it. Some other I did are below if you scroll down. Those I kept it simple.

This was fun. I noticed that I get stuck on the details of the portraits instead of laying it down simply. On my next few I'll try to be more accurate with the likeness and keep it a bit more simple. Also, I definitely need to study the asaro head as well.

This took some time lol. There is a lot of banding due to the fact I couldnt upload a higher quality gif because of the upload size limit. I actually did this in 4k. This was a fun one

My pencil sharpener broke so I ended up doing these with a sharpie. I'll get a new sharpener or make a sanding block and try again tomorrow. Lots of room for growth on these, but I like this approach.
I'm going to be doing more these with my drawing group via Zoom on Sunday, December 3rd. If anyone wants to join us, DM me.

Here is mine. I do a fair amount of this sort of thing, so this is in my comfort zone.

Tried animating a box moving in space. This was good practice. Drew a lot of lines lol

Did exercise inspired by Fabian Ayala post here today. Wanted to add some shapeshifting turn to it, Results not very natural when it comes to animation but it was fun, will try better next time :)

Nice, glad you had fun doing this exercise. This helps because in animation there is a lot of drawing, so you definitely get some millage out of this exercise.

Tried rotating the pecs. I think it came out alright but I could add a little more volume to it.
