I feel like I still have to work on prerequisites before this assignment. The eight values I chose for level 2 seem more like a wish than a guide. :) Judging by the level 1 exercise, I think I can maybe work with 6 values and no more. But it was fun, hoping that if I practise more I can see more subtle differences and draw them.

Found the hippo and the rooster very difficult. I don't have access to a printer for a few days, so the rhino proportions are a bit off. For the landscape I wanted to combine depth with importance, so I made the lamppost lines the strongest, but it feels like they're a bit too much compared to the rest of the drawing.
