Thank you for including me in video again @David Colman , exactly after your review of my flatness I've derailed from course, having fun with simple forms in high volumes over simplified human anatomy to get the feel and I'll be back :)

First time in critique video ever ! Thanks for honor and tips, definitely construction with 3d forms is my shortcoming that I try to work out :)

Try to focus less on subject on more on clear strokes :) and maybe start with penguin? this crazy lad is not easy :)

I’m having a hard time with proportions especially with the penguin

That's great, as proportions were not the main part of the this practice and you did great on line practice :)

Almost didn't post it, because of shame lol.... Well, attempted 3 times at 3 different days with 3 different approaches, but to be honest, I think I have no idea what I'm doing. (need to correct that)

You're a beginner placed in vast ocean of "what we dont know", so any direction to start is great :) I love that actually you've added more character to the penguin that there was in reference. Good job, keep it up :)

sketching these were fun, but also challenging with proportions and keeping the lines confident. I would love critique on the line quality!

For my beginner eye, shit that's perfect :) All is on point, and where you had a problem there is next line to it that does the job and still looks clean and with purpose. Exactly as Stan prescribed and as bonus great 3d form showed.

This is so different from drawing on tablet where I use more wrist than my whole arm, and I feel like confident execution requires losing lots of accuracy (at least for me)

Confident line is better than on point scribbly one, but I can imagine that accuracy comes with time. At least me, I've never used whole arm to draw/write and when compared with many year of writing using only fingers it's just lack of experience in it :) like many years gap of experience between two.

I am going to be honest that I did do quick sketches just to get rid off the assignment. And I know it's not the healthy way to learn but i didn't got that much time

That's okay, you do what you can with time you have :) maybe in future you'll find more

The thought that I could be a lil' bit messy and correct myself on top of the previous lines instead of constantly erasing was honestly liberating. I might've gone too dark to what's supposed to be a sketch, but it was fun!

It's a weird feeling :D like "hey, trust yourself you've got this" and it's not easy for me to trust yourself when I feel like total beginner

beginner starting with anatomy fun :) lots of wrongs which is hard for me to leave but its so much easier to focus on understanding and stuyding when you dont try to produce something on point

Bp 4, too bad we dont have 3d model. Wouldnt save my work but would help a bit with what goes where :) i can imagine that for guys with human anatomy its much easier

Beginner getting started late on the course :) really felt the need to at least know what the heck is happening in pelvis and arm area before starting so Ill continue on skeleton and heads today. I really appreciate loose approach, spent so much time recently on being accurate and exact in beginners course that this feel really freeing. Seems like its really great way to learn about subject.

Ballpoint 3. Somehow loose is synonim of speed for me, probably personal workaround. Cannot overthink if going over my speed limit.

Going in with ballpoint. I think now understand, when you just go full in youre having so much fun that accidently you learn about the subject along the way :) for sure need to work on loosing my tight pants and go with bigger format so arm can swing away

Nice ! And it is very smooth :) I would guess that porous paper gave you some bad time

Solid simplification, on point representation of the object, clear seperation of values. You did great ! :) consider drawing bit bigger(it's pretty small right?), it will later on help you with CSI assignments and you'll have more space to design your shapes :)

Lv 2 Skully. I think I overdid with details in the neck, I was being hypnotized by the bones and veins and things... I just lost track of the purpose of the assignment

Nothing wrong with letting it go in the end to have some fun, as long as you practice the main goal of the assignement :)

Looking for feedback and critique. Here's my camel and skelly. I may have simplified too much? Enjoyed the assignments and I'm looking forward to the next one.

For me simplification is on point! Maybe even could simplify more ? You would still capture the character without few smaller shapes :) Nonetheless, great job !
